For the 2022–23 application cycle, we will again feature short essay questions, which provides a broader platform to showcase your background and personality. These questions are a great opportunity for you to help the Darden Admissions Committee understand who you are and who you will be at Darden.
Remember: We are not reading your responses with a prescribed or “right” answer in mind. We want to get to know you, not us. These questions are our opportunity to begin to get a sense of your voice, your perspective, your experiences and your writing ability. In fact, how you choose to answer a particular question is often as insightful as what you choose to write about. The best essay responses are those that are responsive to the question but also authentic and genuine. Whenever possible, show don’t tell.
One of our favorite application tips involves this feedback stage – when you share your responses with your friend, don’t tell them the prompts (at least initially). See if they can guess the questions based upon your responses. If they can, you are well on your way to finalizing your answers!

個々の出願事情にもよりますが、同校のように10月にRound 1締め切り日を設定しているケースを想定した上で出願計画を策定していくことも選択肢にいれてはいかがでしょうか？ ”1st Rd締め切り日＝9月”というイメージが湧きますが、締め切り日は9月と1月という組み合わせのみではありませんね。
数年前、ColumbiaとNew York Univ.がExecutive Assessment (以下 EA)スコアを受け付けると発表した当初は、EAという名前を耳にする受験生がほぼ全員と言っても過言ではありませんでした。しかし、今日においては状況も変わり、EA対策を受験スケジュールにどう組み入れるか？といったポイントも必要に応じて考えていかなけれなりません。
以下はGMACのEA関連サイトになりますが、EAスコアで受験できるFull-time MBAプログラムは増えております。

昨シーズン、Darden SchoolはGMAT, GREに加え、Executive Assessment (EA),そしてMCAT (医学部入学希望者用の学力試験）、LSAT (法科大学院入学希望者用の学力試験）のスコアも認めるなど、他校以上に出願しやすい環境作りに対して柔軟な姿勢を示しました。
今シーズンも上記のテストスコアは使用可です。日本人受験生の場合、GMATとGREといる従来のテストに加え、EAスコアがテストの候補に該当するでしょうか？

先日、Darden SchoolよりStandardized Test Waiver申請に関する発表がありました。

As a pilot for our 2020-2021 application cycle (i.e. Class of 2023), we are pleased to announce a standardized test waiver.
If you are applying in Round 3 for our class starting this August (i.e. Class of 2022), this waiver request process does NOT apply, and you should submit a standardized test score – GMAT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT, ACT, SAT – with your application materials.
Waiver requests for the 2020-2021 application cycle will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and our Admissions Committee will consider a number of factors when evaluating these requests. Particular regard will be given for indicators of academic and professional accomplishment, including but not limited to:
These factors will be considered in combination with resume and transcripts for all degree-related coursework. Candidates who present a strong profile across several criteria (including supporting materials) are more likely to be granted a test waiver than candidates who meet only one criterion. We recommend revewing our Standardized Test FAQs before submitting your waiver request.
To be considered for a waiver of our standardized test requirement, please complete the required fields and upload the appropriate documentation when prompted.
