コロナウィルス拡大の影響とMBA Admissions Information③ (締め切り日の延期、テスト受験等)

掲題に関する各校の対応状況を紹介いたします。

University of California, Berkeley (Haas)

Given the worldwide disruptions caused by COVID-19, we know that it has been a challenging time for everyone. We have opened an extended deadline of May 4, 2020 to assist candidates who have been delayed in completing their application due to their inability to take the GMAT/GRE or difficulty in obtaining letters of recommendation, etc.

Our Round 3 deadline will remain on April 2, 2020, with decisions released on May 7, 2020. Candidates who submit applications for the extended application deadline will receive decisions on June 4, 2020.

Dartmouth College (Tuck School)

You can submit a Round 4 application on a rolling basis from April 1 to June 1. We’ll return decisions on a rolling basis — as soon as possible, and typically within several weeks — from May 11 to July 1. You will still need all required materials to apply, including test scores. You can now take the GRE and TOEFL exams at home in some countries, and we’re optimistic that there will be more temporary online testing alternatives before June 1. International applicants, especially those currently residing outside the U.S., we strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible to account for expected visa delays at international embassies.

Round 3 application extension: the details
The current deadline for Round 3 applications to our Full-Time MBA Programs will still stand on April 8. If you can meet that deadline, you’ll be among the first we review for admission and scholarship decisions, which will be released on May 13.

However, after the April 8 deadline, we are moving to rolling admissions for Round 3 through June 1. Due to the current pandemic, some of you have encountered barriers to meeting the original deadline. We’re also aware that many of your personal and professional situations may have changed, making business school a priority for next year.

Though we will keep accepting applications through June 1, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible, especially for 1Y, MMM and international applicants. Rolling decisions will apply to both admission and scholarship awards. Additionally, the sooner you receive your decision the sooner you can start planning for next year!

Online GMAT/GRE scores accepted

For the first time ever, the GMAT and GRE are now available to be taken online. We’re very pleased to see that the testing organizations have taken this step to put safety first. Kellogg will accept scores submitted through this new virtual testing model.

If you are unable to take the GMAT/GRE or TOEFL, you can still apply. We will wait to render your final admissions decision until we receive your score. If you are unable to submit a test score in time for receiving a decision this year, we will roll your application components forward to next year so that you don’t have to re-submit entirely. If you are planning to submit without a score, you need to contact us via MBAadmissions@kellogg.northwestern.edu or 847.491.3308 so we can help you submit it manually. You will not be able to do it yourself.
