前回に続き、Columbia Essay対策について投稿いたします。
今年から新しい設問 (1) が加わりました。
Please respond to two (2) of the three (3) essay questions listed below:
(1) The Phillips Pathway for Inclusive Leadership (PPIL) is a new co-curricular program designed to ensure that every CBS student develops the skills to become an ethical and inclusive leader. Through PPIL, students attend programming focused on give essential diversity, equity, and inclusion skills: Creating an Inclusive Environment, Mitigating Bias, Communicating Across Identities, Addressing Systemic Inequity, and Managing Difficult Conversations. Tell us about a time you were challenged around one of these five skills. Describe the situation, the actions you took, and the outcome. (250 words)

この設問への回答を用意する際には、対人能力を発揮した実例を１つ準備していきましょう。
そしてDEIに関する反応、理解度、対応力をその選定した実例に登場する自分の活躍を通して描き出してください。さらには周囲（チーム・組織等）への影響度に関して言及いただくと、さらに読み応えのあるアピーリングな内容へと仕上がると思います。
(2) Why do you feel Columbia Business School is a good fit for you? (250 words)
出願理由を考える際には、Class, Club, Guest Speakers, Internship opportunity, Practical Educationを始め、学校関係者（卒業生・在校生）を通して情報を収集されると思います。キャリア目標を達成するため、世界有数のビジネス都市であるニューヨークでの留学経験は自身から何を得ることが出来るか推敲してみましょう。

質問を受けることですが、入学審査官に好まれる本・映画・歌はありません。大切なのはそれぞれのジャンルではなく、自分にとって”favorite”な理由、自分の人生にとってなぜ大切なのか？そうした理由に関して考えてみましょう。
