The 2016-2017 application deadlines are as follows:
Round 1 – October 3, 2016
Round 2 – January 20, 2017
Round 3 – March 3, 2017
The Law Tech program is an integral part of the new academic model at Cornell Tech, where education and research are closely tied to creating and expanding companies and industries. As a student, you’ll have unique collaboration opportunities on campus, as well as with New York-based companies in the tech industry.
For foreign-trained students, the Tech LLM will not by itself qualify graduates to sit for the New York State bar examination; but, by undertaking a semester of additional coursework at Cornell’s Ithaca campus, foreign-trained students who desire to do so can satisfy the requirements to sit for the bar.
Who should apply?
Ideal candidates for the LLM degree at Cornell Tech are already-practicing attorneys or recent law graduates who possess strong academic or professional credentials, as well as an active interest in technology and entrepreneurship.
