名門Georgetown大学ロースクールにて、Environmental LL.M.プログラムがスタートするとの発表がありました。下記内容はプログラム紹介のページより抜粋しました。
Foreign-trained LL.M. students must complete a minimum of 20 academic credits — including U.S. Legal Discourse I (one credit) in the fall semester — and 14 credits in courses recognized as integral to or affiliated with the environmental field.
Students also will be expected to successfully complete an externship or practicum within the field, or for a foreign-trained LL.M. in an exceptional case, to complete a very substantial scholarly tutorial paper of at least 3 credits for publication.
これまでは、Duke, University of MichiganといったロースクールがEnvironmental Law分野の代表格として受験者間でも認知されてきましたが、Georgetownも、これまで以上に同分野における魅力的なプログラムになることが予想されます。
