【Essay Questions for Fall 2014】: Yale

昨年の4題から今年は2題となっています。そして、これらの質問を使いますと、計750 wordsから成る「出願理由」や「MBAの取得理由」を含むGOAL型エッセイを書きあげることができます。例年、他校ではGOAL型のエッセイ課題を500 words以内で纏めるケースが多くみられます。これからエッセイの作成を進める際は、まず字数制限の多い課題から取り掛かり、そこから各スクールの字数制限に適応させるなど、個々の出願戦略を確立させていきましょう。

【学校説明会の開催予定】: London Business School (LBS)

London Business Schoolの学校説明会も開催予定となっております。

【LL.M. Program Application Deadlines for Fall 2014】: Stanford Law School (SLS)

先日のHarvard Law School (HLS)に続き、Stanford Law School(SLS)においても、2014年秋入学に向けた出願締切日＜2013年12月14日(11:59:59 PM, PST)＞が発表されました。

そして同校のサイトでは、下記Application Materialsの提出を義務付けています。

  1. Application for Admission to Graduate Study
  2. Application Fee
  3. Resume or curriculum vitae
  4. Personal statement
  5. Two letters of recommendation
  6. Official transcripts
  7. TOEFL score report

今回のStanfordに続き、先だってご案内したHarvardの最終締切日が12月1日（11月15日までの出願を勧める）です。例年の傾向としては、Berkeley, Chicago, Columbia, New York, U of Pennsylvaniaといったスクールの締切日は、12月上旬から中旬にかけて設定されることが予想されます。これらのスクールを併願する出願者も少なくありませんので、最後の数週間を使って駆け込み体制で出願書類を作り込むよりも、幾分の余裕を持った上で出願関連書類の作成へと取り掛かっていきましょう。

【Application Deadlines for Fall 2014】: Cornell (Johnson)

今年からアドミッションサイクルを3ラウンド制へ変えてきました。Berkeley (Haas)でも同様の動きが観られています。

・Round 1:2013年10月2日

・Round 2:2013年12月4日

・Round 3:2014年2月12日

Johnson will be changing the essay portion this year by requiring applicants to submit a candidate profile (more information to come). All applicants will still have the option to submit the “chapter headings to your life story” and of course, we always provide the option for you to submit anything you would like to share that may need explaining in free text.
